Early Care and Education Specialist
$ 19.90 to 21.07 per hour
Pay depends on experience and current permit held.
Full Time Position

Required Qualifications


Education:
AA/AS degree in ECE, Child Development, Human Development
Or 60 units with 24 ECE/CD/HD units plus 2 Adult Supervision units.

Credential:
Possession of Child Development Teacher or Master Teacher Permit.

Experience:
One (1) year as a teacher in a program for children in a licensed center or family child care site

Other Requirements:
Must have a valid CA. Driver License, Registered and Insured Vehicle

Desirable Qualifications

Education:
All Required Qualifications plus 6 Administration units

Credential:
Possession of Child Development Site Supervisor Permit

Experience:
Two (2) years as a teacher in a program for children with a minimum of one (1) year in a supervisory capacity, in a licensed child care center or family child
care home.

Language:
Bilingual English and Spanish

Duties:
DRDP Child Assessment; Lesson Planning; Working Collaboration with Family Child Care Providers to Enhance Learning Environments (ERS); On Site Technical Assistance; Provider Workshops; Travel to Family Child Care Sites; Parent Education and Conferences
